Starting school can be a big day, one of those never to be forgotten, his/her first day at school! It is a big day for you and ourselves as teachers also. Here at Mallow CNS we will endeavour to make that first day a special one for your child. We will strive to create a happy learning environment and trust that the year ahead will be an enjoyable and successful one. At Mallow Community National School, we seek to ensure that all our pupils are educated in an environment that is welcoming, caring, considerate and tolerant.
We hope that this booklet will help to prepare you and your child by offering some useful tips and information. We look forward to working closely with you in our role as partners in your child’s education.
Welcome to the Parent’s Association
Our Mission Statement:
“Bringing Mallow CNS parents together for the future of our children”
The Parent’s Association is a means for parents of all children in the school to get involved in their children’s education. We hope that all parents will take an active role, as it is fantastic for our children to see their parents and families taking an active interest in their school life.
Throughout the year the Parent’s Association organise various events in an effort to raise funds for Mallow Community National School, as well as holding fun events for the pupils of the school. The Parents Association also provides a forum for the parents of the school to meet each other and create a support network.
